Ligia’s eight years of service in the United States Air Force has taught her many valuable principles of what it means to truly serve others. She strongly believes in maintaining integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all you do. Her experience in the military continued to build her character, incredible work ethic and robust desire to be a positive impact in her community. In 2018, after graduating with a Master’s in Prosthetics and Orthotics, she pursued an internship at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs in San Antonio, TX, where she currently volunteers.
